Questions
Before you call
▸Do you take DDD?
Yes — DDD members are most of who we serve, children and adults. If you have a DDD support coordinator, we can take it from there and handle the authorization paperwork with them.
▸Do you see adults, or only kids?
Both. We serve DDD members across the lifespan — children, teens, and adults. Communication goals change with age, and so does the therapy.
▸What does it cost?
For DDD and AHCCCS members, covered services are billed directly to your plan — there is nothing out of pocket for authorized therapy. We offer a free initial consultation to see if we are the right fit.
▸Where do sessions happen?
Most often in your home, which is where skills actually get used. We also offer teletherapy, and can see people in the community or in clinic when that fits better.
▸How do we get started?
Send us your information and we will call you. If you are with DDD, we will coordinate with your support coordinator on the authorization. Most families are scheduled within a couple of weeks.
▸How long does therapy last?
It depends on the goals. We reassess every quarter with a written progress report, and we are honest with you about progress — including when it is time to discharge.
