Awaken Your VoiceSpeech-Language Pathology

For families

Getting started shouldn't be the hard part.

You've probably already done a lot of waiting and a lot of paperwork. Here's the short version: tell us about your person, and we'll take it from there — including the authorization.

What to expect

No cost to ask

The first conversation is free and there's no obligation. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.

  • We call you back

A person, usually within one business day.

  • We handle DDD

If you have a support coordinator, we coordinate the authorization directly with them.

  • We come to you

Most sessions happen at home. Teletherapy and community sessions are available too.

  • You see the progress

A written progress report every quarter, shared with your team — plus a home program reviewed at every session.

  • You keep your therapist

We match you with a clinician near you and keep them with you. Continuity is the whole point.

Questions

Before you call

Do you take DDD?

Yes — DDD members are most of who we serve, children and adults. If you have a DDD support coordinator, we can take it from there and handle the authorization paperwork with them.

Do you see adults, or only kids?

Both. We serve DDD members across the lifespan — children, teens, and adults. Communication goals change with age, and so does the therapy.

What does it cost?

For DDD and AHCCCS members, covered services are billed directly to your plan — there is nothing out of pocket for authorized therapy. We offer a free initial consultation to see if we are the right fit.

Where do sessions happen?

Most often in your home, which is where skills actually get used. We also offer teletherapy, and can see people in the community or in clinic when that fits better.

How do we get started?

Send us your information and we will call you. If you are with DDD, we will coordinate with your support coordinator on the authorization. Most families are scheduled within a couple of weeks.

How long does therapy last?

It depends on the goals. We reassess every quarter with a written progress report, and we are honest with you about progress — including when it is time to discharge.
